King Steve Benjamin, better known as KSB is a Nigerian-born singer, producer, songwriter, and stage performer.
Born on October 20th, 1993, in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria, KSB’s musical journey began at a young age. While his father, a renowned surgeon, author, and business mogul, expected him to follow in his footsteps, KSB’s passion for music led him down a different path. After completing his primary and secondary education, he decided to leave his studies in computer engineering in Moscow and fully pursue his musical aspirations.
In 2017, KSB released his first debut studio album, “Ado 2 Moscow.” The album quickly gained success and sold millions of copies worldwide. The following year, he released his debut EP, simply titled “KSB,” which received global recognition and achieved significant sales. July 2020 marked the release of KSB’s second debut studio album, “KSB (Knowing Steve Benjamin),” featuring hit singles like “Highness,” “Mama Ya doma,” and “Loké.” These songs soared on various billboard charts, further establishing KSB’s presence in the music industry.
With unwavering support from his parents, KSB embraced his musical talents from a young age and honed his skills by playing drums for churches. This enabled him to develop his unique sound, incorporating elements of Afrobeats and Afropop, paying homage to his mentor, Wandecoal. In 2020, KSB ventured into independent territory, starting his own record label, “KSB Vibes”. He wasted no time in signing talented artists such as “Wizard,” as well as two talented producers, “DG Music” and “Слипер.” Furthermore, KSB secured a Multi-Million Rubles album deal with TJ Entertainment, an international record company based in Russia.
With two albums, two EPs, and an ever-growing influence on the music industry, KSB showcases the power of following one’s dreams. KSB Vibes, his brainchild, serves as a beacon for artists aspiring to express their limitless potential and create musical experiences that resonate with audiences worldwide.
